Unlike cylindrical brushes made with different types of nylon, abrasive nylon cylinder brushes utilize extruded nylon filaments that are embedded with abrasive grit. This unique combination allows the brush to deliver a more aggressive cleaning performance. By incorporating abrasive nylon as the fill material, these brushes offer the advantages of both a flexible and conformable brush, as well as the abrasive properties. The aggressiveness of the cleaning action and the stiffness of the filament can be controlled by selecting the appropriate grit size in relation to the filament diameter.
